The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) announces the 2024 benchmark scores for the following admission methods: admission based on upper secondary school academic results, scores from the Competency Assessment Examination of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, and direct admission under the University’s separate admission scheme.

Accordingly, the benchmark scores for the method based on upper secondary school academic results for the entire Grade 10, Grade 11, and the first semester of Grade 12 range from 20 to 25 points. The major with the highest benchmark score is Marketing with 25 points; followed by Finance – Banking, Chinese Language, and Food Technology with 24.5 points; majors such as Chemical Engineering Technology, Aquatic Products Processing Technology, Garment Technology, Biotechnology, etc., have benchmark scores of 20 points.

For the admission method based on the Competency Assessment Examination scores of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), the benchmark scores range from 600 to 750 points. Marketing, International Business, E-commerce, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management are the majors with the highest benchmark score of 750 points, while the remaining majors range from 600 to 700 points.

For the direct admission method under the 2024 separate admission scheme of HUIT, the benchmark score for all majors is 24 points.

Candidates wishing to enroll at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade must register the major for which they have met the admission conditions as their first preference on the admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training (http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/) from 18 July to 30 July 2024 in order to be officially recognized as admitted.

If candidates do not register their preference, or if they register the major for which they have met the admission conditions as subsequent preferences (2, 3, 4, …) and have already been admitted to higher preferences, they will not be recognized as admitted to Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade for the major for which they have met the admission conditions.

The University will verify upper secondary school academic results and supporting documents for priority categories and priority areas in accordance with the information declared on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training and the original documents when candidates complete enrollment procedures. If discrepancies are found during the verification process that lead to changes in the admission results, the University will revoke the admission decision in accordance with regulations.
