The 2nd Competition “I Am an Economic Law Student” at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade: The Place for the Radiance of Young Talents of the Law Major (January 28, 2026).

On January 24, 2026, at Hall C of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the 2nd Competition “I Am a Student of Economic Law” took place, attracting the participation of a large number of students of the Faculty of Law as well as the attention of lecturers and invited guests. This was a meaningful event aimed at propagating and disseminating legal knowledge, and at the same time building ethical standards and a professional image for students of the Economic Law major.

Opening the program was a special musical performance, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere for the entire audience. The Organizing Committee expressed sincere thanks for the presence of lecturers, distinguished guests, and students. Dr. Luong Khai An – Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head of the Steering Committee – delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the significance of the competition in improving legal knowledge and soft skills for students.

The Organizing Committee respectfully introduced the members of the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, and the Jury, consisting of reputable experts in the field of Law, ensuring fairness and transparency for the competition. The objective evaluations and comments of the Jury were a source of encouragement and valuable lessons for the participants.

The three best teams passed the preliminary round to enter the challenging final round:

· Team La-la-law (class 14DHKTL03) including Phan Huynh Thu Nuong, Thach Bao Xuyen, Dinh Nguyen Thu Ha.

· Team LAWGIC (class 16DHKTL05) including Phan Ngoc Anh, Dang Hong Yen, Phan Ngoc Anh Thu, Nguyen Khanh Vy, Nguyen Thi My Huyen.

· Team Biệt đội Bào chữa cháy (classes 16DHKTL03 & 14DHKTL02) including Nguyen Thi Hong Phuong, Tran Thi Hong Phan, Nguyen Thi Nhu Y, Nguyen Dang Khanh and Le Bao Ngoc.

The teams went through three attractive rounds, comprehensively demonstrating knowledge and skills.

Round 1: Multiple-choice questions. Each team was provided with an answer board to answer 20 multiple-choice questions on knowledge of economic law. This round required quickness, accuracy, and broad understanding. The teams demonstrated excellent ability, bringing a tense but also dramatic atmosphere to the competition.

Round 2: Talent round. The teams presented their talent performances with a maximum time of 10 minutes, demonstrating creativity, presentation skills, and the application of legal knowledge into practice. The Jury asked related questions to examine the understanding and critical thinking ability of the participants. This round was organized fairly with criteria on ethics and culture.

Round 3: Presentation round. In this round, each team drew a topic to present within 5 minutes, then answered questions from the Jury to demonstrate sharp thinking and debating ability. This was the decisive round for the final result, requiring the participants to show their confidence and composure.

The Jury gave detailed evaluations and constructive comments so that the participants and students could draw experience and improve their skills in the process of study and career development.

The final results were announced with an outburst of emotions and the joy of victory:

· First Prize: Team LAWGIC (class 16DHKTL05)

· Second Prize: Team Biệt đội Bào chữa cháy (classes 16DHKTL03 & 14DHKTL02)

· Third Prize: Team La-la-law (class 14DHKTL03)

The teams received awards and took commemorative photos with the Jury, lecturers, and all students.

The 2nd Competition “I Am a Student of Economic Law” was not only a useful playground but also an occasion for students to demonstrate their talent, confidence, and dedication to the legal profession. The Organizing Committee would like to express deep thanks to the lecturers, the Jury, the students, and all attendees who accompanied and supported the program for its great success.
