Seminar “Assessing the current situation and proposing solutions to improve the quality of scientific research among lecturers, trainees, and students of the Faculty of Law”

On the afternoon of January 21, 2026, at Hall C, the Faculty of Law – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade held a thematic seminar entitled “Assessing the current situation and proposing solutions to improve the quality of scientific research among lecturers, trainees, and students of the Faculty of Law – HUIT”. The program attracted the participation of nearly 400 students, along with a large number of lecturers and researchers.

The seminar began with special musical performances by students of the Faculty of Law, creating a lively and inspiring atmosphere for the entire program. Dr. Luong Khai An, Dean of the Faculty of Law, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of scientific research in the context of higher education reform, improving training quality, and linking research with practice. According to him, scientific research is not only a central task of lecturers but also an environment for developing academic thinking and skills for trainees and students.

The seminar was attended by two reputable speakers, including Banh Quoc Tuan, Associate Professor, PhD (Head of the Master’s Program in Law –Thu Dau Mot University) and Ho Xuan Thang, Associate Professor, PhD (Head of the Postgraduate Program in Economic Law). The two experts presented in-depth reports on the current situation of scientific research and proposed practical solutions to improve research quality. The reports received strong interest and high appreciation from the attending lecturers and students.

The lively discussion that followed enabled delegates, lecturers, and students to exchange experiences and address questions regarding difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of scientific research. Thereby, many new ideas and orientations were proposed to improve the research environment at the Faculty of Law.
