On April 20, 2026, at Hall C of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the Faculty of Law successfully organized the contest “HUIT Law Students with Law and Socio-Economic Practice.” The program attracted the participation of numerous lecturers, students, and guests, creating a lively and meaningful atmosphere

At the beginning of the program, Dr. Luong Khai An, Dean of the Faculty of Law, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing that the purpose of the contest was to inspire passion, promote legal thinking, critical reasoning, public speaking skills, and the application of legal knowledge to socio-economic practice among students.

The Panel of Judges consisted of experienced and dedicated lecturers, ensuring fairness, transparency, and contributing to the overall quality of the contest. After each round, the judges provided comments and feedback to help the teams improve their skills and further develop their legal thinking.

This year, the contest brought together 24 outstanding students from various classes within the Faculty of Law, divided into six teams: K15, Tien Noi Cong Ly, But Pha, Binh Tinh, The Empowerers, and Luat - Ly Team. The teams passed the online preliminary round to advance to the final round.

The contest was conducted in two rounds:

· Round 1: Introduction – Each team had a maximum of three minutes to introduce their university, faculty, and their team, based on the scoring criteria of creativity, content, performance, and teamwork.

· Round 2: Oral Argument – The teams drew topics by lot, presented their arguments, and responded to questions and challenges from the Panel of Judges, demonstrating their ability to apply legal theory to practice, as well as their presentation and argumentative skills.

After two intense rounds, the results of the contest were as follows:

• First Prize: Team The Empowerers
• Second Prize: Team But Pha
• Third Prize: Teams K15,Team Tien Noi Cong Ly and Team Binh Tinh
• Movement Prize: Team Luat - Ly Team

The Organizing Committee presented certificates of merit and prizes, and took commemorative photos with the teams. The moments when the teams received their awards stood as evidence of the effort, enthusiasm, and spirit of solidarity among the students of the Faculty of Law.

It was not only a beneficial playground but also an opportunity for students to consolidate their knowledge, develop their skills, and gain greater confidence in their academic journey and personal development.
