The Faculty of Law at HUIT Successfully Organized the Acceptance of Student Scientific Research Projects in Economic Law, Academic Year 2024–2025

On August 31, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the Faculty of Law, in coordination with the Office of Science and Technology, organized the acceptance session for institutional-level scientific and technological research projects conducted by students majoring in Economic Law.

At the opening of the session, Dr. Luong Khai An (Dean of the Faculty of Law and Chair of the Acceptance Council) announced the decision to establish five acceptance councils for five scientific research projects conducted by students majoring in Economic Law. He extended his best wishes for good health to the lecturers and all students in attendance, and expressed his sincere appreciation to the council members for their time and participation in the evaluation, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the University’s scientific research quality. Dr. Luong Khai An also expressed his expectation that the lecturers would work in a fair and objective manner to ensure the successful conduct of the acceptance session.

In this acceptance session, the research projects presented and evaluated were as follows:

1. The project entitled “The Rights of Female Employees under Vietnamese Law from the Practice of Enterprises in Linh Trung Export Processing Zone” conducted by students Phan Le Ngoc Anh and Vo Thi Gia Nghi, under the supervision of M.A. Le Thi Thai.

2. The project entitled “Restoration of Business Operations of Insolvent Small and Medium-sized Enterprises under Vietnamese Law from the Practice of Ho Chi Minh City” conducted by students Vo Hoang Gia Huy and Le Quang Loi, under the supervision of M.A. Le Thi Thai.

3. The project entitled “Compensation for Damage due to Breach of Labor Contracts under Vietnamese Law” conducted by students Do Quang Minh Thinh, Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, and Pham Kim Thao, under the supervision of Ph.D. Le Thi Minh Thu.

4. The project entitled “The Law on Mortgage of Real Estate as Security for Credit Contracts of Commercial Banks” conducted by students Bui Thi Nhat Linh, Nguyen Tran Khanh Linh, and Tran Nhat Tram, under the supervision of Ph.D. Le Thi Minh Thu.

5. The project entitled “Implementation of the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence against Children” conducted by students Nguyen Ngoc Tuong Vy, Phan Thi Ha Vy, and Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, under the supervision of Ph.D. Ha Thi Hong Tham.

 

At the acceptance session, the student groups confidently presented their research findings before the Acceptance Council. Following the presentations, the Council conducted discussions, raised questions, and provided professional comments to further refine the projects. As a result, all five projects were evaluated by the Council as “PASSED” and the groups were requested to revise and supplement their reports in accordance with the Council’s comments before finalizing and submitting the copies for archival at the University.

The acceptance session was conducted in a serious, objective, and high-quality manner, recognizing the students’ efforts, creativity, and eagerness to learn. This serves as an important stepping stone, laying the foundation for their continued development in scientific research in the future.
