The Faculty of Law of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade participated in the Annual Conference of the Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam 2026 (March 22, 2026).

On March 20, 2026, at Duy Tan University (Da Nang City), the Annual Conference of the Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam 2026 was held with the theme “Legal education in the current context”. The conference gathered a large number of delegates from law training institutions nationwide, creating a forum for academic and practical exchange to improve the quality of legal education in the new period.

The Faculty of Law of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, represented by Dr. Luong Khai An (Dean), attended the Conference. The participation of the Faculty of Law, together with administrators, scholars, and legal experts from many universities, contributed to in-depth and practical discussions on issues of innovating legal education in response to the demands of the era.

In the opening session, delegates listened to orientational speeches on the challenges of innovation in legal education in the context of international integration and digital transformation. The conference focused on important topics such as: innovating teaching methods associated with professional practice, improving the quality of the teaching staff, and promoting research activities and scientific publications in the legal field.

In addition to the presented papers, the open discussion session took place actively with many contributions from representatives of law training institutions, focusing on standardizing training programs, strengthening practical legal skills, and meeting the needs of the labor market.

Notably, at this year’s Conference, the HUIT Faculty of Law was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Network of Law Training Institutions for its outstanding contributions in 2025. This is a worthy recognition of the innovative efforts, creativity, and positive contributions of the Faculty of Law’s lecturers in the mission of training high-quality legal human resources.

The Conference concluded with an orientation to strengthen linkages and cooperation among law training institutions in the network, aiming to build a modern, high-quality, and internationally integrated legal education ecosystem.
